What a class
actually looks like.

A tight block on the courts — 30 minutes for the little ones, 45 for the older kids. Some games, some drills, a lot of running. Less drilling than your kid expects, more learning than they realize.

First five minutes

Warm-up & throw

We start with a goofy throw-and-catch game that doubles as warm-up and assessment. The coach sees who's confident, who's nervous, and who's still figuring out which hand the racket goes in. Nobody fails this — the point is to get the body moving and the laughter started.

The middle

Drills disguised as games

We teach grip, swing, and footwork through games. Red-light green-light to learn ready position. King of the court for rally control. Beat the coach for serve consistency. Kids don't realize they're drilling until they catch themselves doing the right thing in match play three weeks later.

Last fifteen

Real points, real games

Every session ends with actual play — points, mini-matches, doubles teams. This is where they realize the drills add up. We coach during play (gently), but the kids are running the show. They love this part.

Across a block

How they progress

A typical four-week block takes a kid from 'I can hit it sometimes' to 'I can sustain a rally and serve in.' Eight-week blocks stretch into 'I want to play every day' territory. We don't promise levels or badges — we promise that your kid will have something they can do with a racket by the end.
